The main challenge of the brief for this space was to design an interior that could influence the behavioural and emotional state of its users. For crafting a well thought through design that could meet this brief, the Jury commends the designers for this small but sensitive project that demonstrates a deep understanding of what is required. From the process of investigation and research, to the innovative design and integration of form, texture and light, the simple interior has a calming effect for all users, not just for children. The ability to impact behaviour through design is achieved here through a well-executed architectural space.
